About the event
Hypopressives are a series of techniques that allow you to work the internal abdominal muscles in a more effective and healthy way. The results are a spectacular reduction of the waist, the strengthening of the entire abdominal girdle and the toning of the pelvic floor. Although it is a highly recommended discipline for both men and women of any age and condition, hypopressives are especially beneficial for women who have been mothers and need to recover the abdominal and pelvic muscles after pregnancy and childbirth.
Traditional sit-ups, based on flexing the trunk and head towards the knees, produce excessive tension in the pelvic floor area, which can cause long-term problems such as urinary incontinence, prolapses or diastasis (separation of the rectus abdominis muscles). . Hypopressive exercises, on the other hand, not only do not have any detrimental effect on the pelvic floor, but rather help to strengthen it.
This workshop will teach how to exercise the hypopressive technique with series adapted to the level of the attendees that they can then do at home. In addition, it will be complemented with time dedicated to exercises to strengthen the buttocks and abdomen.
